Exhibition Information

Dubliner Paul Harris is a self-taught photographer working with 35mm film and street photography. This exhibition - cubaOne - is his first solo show and features limited editions of images from the streets, small towns and rural villages around the island of Cuba during the last weeks of Castro's official presidency (late 2007/early 2008).

His Excellency Noel Carillo the Cuban Ambassador offcially opened the show on Wednesday 22nd July to an opening night crowd of some 100 people who stayed to enjoy specially-prepared food, cold Cuban beer and warm live Cuban music.

Limited edition signed prints on Hahnemühle fine art fibre paper are for sale (framed & unframed). Also for sale is a specially-produced book of the exhibtion series featuring a foreword by Dervla Murphy, adventure travel writer and author of the excellent 'The Island That Dared: Journeys in Cuba'.
